Old site since 2003…
Modeling in 1/48 scale, Craig is building a new model railroad in O scale, based on the Denver & Rio Grande Western Railroad in Colorado. The layout will fea - ture both standard gauge and 3 foot narrow gauge. Track planning includes a dual gauge main line and both standard tracks and a narrow gauge branch line. The railroad will be designed for operations (switching) and will use DCC with sound equipped locomotives. In 2024, Craig moved outside Houston. A new home and separate train building were built. During the Summer of 2025, the train room is being finished out. This new layout is coming soon and early track plans are out for review. The previous O/On3 layout was dismantled in the Spring of 2025. Pictures and videos of that layout (more still coming) on the ‘Old Layout’ site.
